Figurative Paintings

I have always been fascinated by the diversity of faces, lifestyles and cultures of our human family.  This series began with commissions I received during the 28 years I lived in Africa.  Some of those paintings can be seen on the Postage Stamps and Book pages.  The series is gradually expanding to include people of different backgrounds in whatever country I find them and in whatever activity they may be engaged as they carry out their daily lives. Click on an image to see the complete painting and to read the description. The sizes given are unframed, height x width.  Should you be interested in purchasing an available painting or commission a new one, please inquire.
